Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright put on a united front on their son’s 3rd birthday
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright celebrated their son Cruz’s 3rd birthday with a party, but things didn’t go as planned. During the celebration, the couple accidentally dropped Cruz’s birthday cake.
The cake disaster
While standing side-by-side behind the three-tier cake, Taylor and Cartwright leaned over to blow out the candles. However, the table gave away, causing the cake to tumble to the floor.
Reactions to the mishap
As the cake fell, guests gasped in shock while Cartwright laughed off the situation. Taylor, however, seemed less amused and stared at the destroyed cake. The couple’s son seemed unaffected, and Cartwright captioned the video on her Instagram Story with, “Never a dull moment, just our luck.”
Rebuilding the cake
Despite the mishap, several people attempted to put the cake back together.
Fans react on social media
TikTok user Zack Wickham shared the video of the cake dropping incident, and fans couldn’t help but find the situation humorous. Many comments joked about the cake mishap being representative of the couple’s relationship or blamed it on Jax Taylor’s tendencies to mess things up.
A day of family fun
Despite the cake incident, Cruz’s birthday celebration was otherwise enjoyable. The party took place at a trampoline park where kids jumped around with Cruz. Taylor and Cartwright even joined the fun, bouncing on trampolines with their son.
Continued co-parenting
The birthday celebration comes after Taylor and Cartwright’s separation announcement in February. The couple, who starred on the reality show “Vanderpump Rules,” shared that they were taking time apart and had begun living in separate houses. Cartwright cited their lack of intimacy and Taylor’s refusal to go to therapy as factors in their split.
