At the end of last year, Janni and Peer Kusmagk took the big step and moved to Mallorca with their three children. Since then, the family has had to overcome all sorts of challenges. So also in the past “hard” week.

Since emigrating to the holiday island of Mallorca, Janni Kusmagk, 31, and husband Peer Kusmagk, 46, have had quite a few adventures. Whether marital problems, childhood illnesses, freezing temperatures or a plague of processionary moths – the Kusmagks master every challenge, no matter how big, with a positive attitude and family solidarity. Now life had another one in store for her.

Janni Kusmagk: “It’s just unbelievable what we’ve been through here”

“We’ve had a really tough week,” she begins her Instagram story. A week ago she was “really bad”. A test showed: Janni has Corona. And Peer and the children Emil-Ocean, 4, Yoko, 2, and Merlin, 7 months, were also affected. But that’s not all: “In any case, we also had the night when we had no more electricity. It’s unbelievable, simply unbelievable what we’ve been through since we’ve been here.”

The corona infection is also “really severe,” reports the former professional surfer. It is particularly noticeable that sometimes you feel better and then really bad again. Daughter Yoko in particular was hit hard. “Yoko also spat for several days, one day in particular. And Emil-Ocean had such a cough one day.”

The Kusmagks soak up the sun and sea air

The family now wants to soak up some sun and fresh sea air on a trip to the beach. “Now let’s have a good time here,” she reports from the beach, but admits: “I feel like an alien. I’m somehow not really there yet. But we’re just trying to enjoy it a bit now. “

So that Janni and Peer don’t lose each other in difficult times like these, they sought professional help and speak weekly with “a neutral interlocutor”, as they revealed in an interview with GALA. “That way we’ll be stronger and better prepared for the next difficult phase.”
