There was a unique moment at the event to dump Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono’s son-in-law this morning. President’s nephew JokowiJan Ethes took the villages filled with grains of rice and scattered coins from Iriana Joko Widodo.
Reported detik Jateng, this moment occurred when Kaesang and Erina were undergoing the traditional Ngunduh Mantu procession at Loji Gandrung. After performing the rituals of sungkeman and tumplak pujen, the procession continued enlarging into the villages.
The scattered villagers contain rice grains and coins. First Lady Iriana scattered these villages, from the aisle to the courtyard of Loji Gandrung.
As the procession spread through the villages, Jan Ethes along with Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Selvi Ananda, Kahiyang Ayu and Bobby Nasution appeared to be following Iriana and Jokowi.
Jan Ethes, Gibran, Selvi, Bobby and Kahiyang also seemed to be taking the scattered coins from Iriana. Ethes’ funny behavior was also caught on camera.
Become a “specialist”
Earlier, Ethes had acted as a spokesperson, after Jokowi released a statement to the media. This ‘spokesperson’ moment occurred during the nunduh event this morning.
“Yes, congratulations to Mas Kaesang and Ms. Erina,” said Jan Ethes, on Sunday (11/12).
