American actor Jamie Foxx expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the great amount of love he received during his illness.
He commented in a post on his Instagram account, saying: “I appreciate all this love, very grateful.”
The brief comment of the 55-year-old American actor comes for the first time since his admission to the hospital about 3 weeks ago, without providing any clarification about his health and the nature of the disease he suffers from.
And the Oscar owner was taken to the hospital while filming a comedy called “Back in Action” with actress Cameron Diaz, amid secrecy about his health.
Two days after his admission to the hospital, Corinne Fox, the actor’s daughter, said that her father was in the process of recovering from a health problem, due to what she described as “medical complications.”
“We wanted to tell you that my father, Jamie Foxx, suffered medical complications yesterday. Fortunately, due to his prompt action and wonderful care, he is already on the road to recovery,” Corinne said in a statement shared on behalf of her family on her Instagram account.
“We know how loved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time,” she added. She did not provide any other details.
