On Wednesday, Pinkett Smith admittedly breaks the silence for the very first time after the Oscar brawl that took place at the end of March. The 50-year-old does this during his own talk show Red Table Talk.
There she says, among other things, that thousands of people have contacted her after the much-discussed scandal of which her husband became a part.
– In connection with what I have been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have contacted me about their own stories, Pinkett Smith says in the episode, and continues:

– Regarding the Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, talented men will have an opportunity to talk about this and sort it out. Until then, Will and I will continue to do what we have been doing for the past 28 years, and that is to continue to find out what this is called life together.
Pinkett Smith also takes the opportunity to talk about the fact that millions of people live with shame associated with the hair disease alopecia.
“The condition, especially for black women, can affect a person’s perception of themselves and force them to confront others’ perception of beauty, hair, race and culture,” she says.
