“Ja Morant’s Disturbing Instagram Messages and Police Visit: Latest Updates and News”

While he is still awaiting the NBA sanction after his (second) live Instagram in which he showed himself with a weapon, Ja Morant talked about him again on Insta today. No gun this time, but rather a series of very disturbing messages that forced the Tennessee police to visit his home.

“I love you mom. I love you dad. I love you my daughter, you are the best. Bye.”

Here are the messages in question (since deleted), accompanied each time by a photo of Ja with his mother, his father, his 3-year-old daughter, and finally of Morant alone in the process of dropping a postgame interview. It’s hard not to imagine the worst when you know the turbulence that currently characterizes the life of the Grizzlies superstar, under the influence of an NBA suspension after his new controversial video ten days ago.

Police in Shelby County (in the Memphis, Tennessee, metropolitan area) also imagined the worst. The proof, according to ESPN (via TMZ), she went to pay a little visit to Ja Morant in stride to make sure that he was not about to make a big mistake.

We are happy to learn that Morant did not have dark thoughts in his head, the officers assuring TMZ what “Ha, it’s going well” and that he just intends to make a social media break. We prefer that, even if there is really something to wonder about the mental well-being of Morant after this series of very disturbing messages in view of the current context.

A spokesperson from the Sheriff County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The Commercial Appeal that they checked in on Ja Morant after his IG posts this morning, and “he is fine.”
