Ivanhoe, Bouwinvest and Greystar invest 1 billion in a youth accommodation company – idealista / news

Real estate operations in the post-covid international market are beginning to flourish. In this case, in Paris, where three leaders of the European real estate sector, such as Ivanhoe, Bouwinvest y Greystar have joined forces to launch a company specializing in accommodation for students and young professionals. The investment capacity of this new firm amounts to 1,000 million euros, both companies announced.

The new youth accommodation platform will have Ivanhoé Cambridge as the majority shareholder while Greystar will bring its decades of experience in rental housing and manage it.

The three groups will focus their investment on the purchase of buildings already built, but also on ongoing projects as well as allocating it to promote their own properties. Vehicle managers have already identified opportunities in the Greater Paris area, where the project will focus initially, and where it plans to close its first acquisitions in the coming months.

The accommodations will be for both students and young professionals looking for housing with services, as well as with good public transport connections.
