Artist Ivan Gunawan has admitted that he was contracted by the DNA Pro trading robot to become a brand ambassador (promotional ambassador) and returned Rp 921.7 million to the Police Criminal Investigation Department. DNA Pro victim said the confession made Ivan Gunawan really involved in DNA Pro case thus harming the victim.
“This proves that it is true that Brother IG (Ivan Gunawan) was directly involved in promoting DNA Pro as he admitted as the brand ambassador for DNA Pro Team Rudutz, by receiving a 3 month work contract with a value of approximately Rp. 1 billion,” said the victim’s attorney. DNA Pro, Zaenul Arifin, when contacted, Saturday (16/4/2022).
“With the presence of brother Ivan Gunawan for the summons of investigators yesterday, it is a positive step to open the veil of fraud under the guise of a trading robot to make it more clear,” he continued.
Zaenul explained that with Ivan Gunawan’s confession and evidence from witnesses, Ivan was suspected of being involved in promoting DNA Pro. He encouraged the Bareskrim Polri investigators to ensnare Ivan Gunawan.
“On the testimony of IG (Ivan Gunawan), with evidence of witness statements, and documentary evidence, it is sufficient for investigators to link IG with Article 45A of the ITE Law for his involvement in promoting DNA Pro through electronic media with the intention of harming consumers. IG has malicious intent (mens rea) and it can also be imposed in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code,” explained Zaenul.

However, Zaenul appreciates Ivan Gunawan for being cooperative. Zaenul praised Ivan Gunawan’s willingness to return the money from DNA Pro.
“However, we appreciate the cooperation and cooperation of Ivan Gunawan, who is willing and willing to return the amount of money obtained from DNA Pro which is not his right,” he said.
Zaenul hopes that other people will do the same as Ivan Gunawan in order to return something that doesn’t belong to him. Zaenul also asked other public figures who had not been summoned by the police to come to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police before being caught.
