For “There is such a people” (ITN), staying in power is not at all costs, and we showed this with our actions. Unfortunately, hatred and anger poured out on us and everyone is against us, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) and member of the ITN parliamentary group Iva Miteva said in Razgrad. She, together with deputies from the group, took part this evening in a meeting with members and sympathizers of the party from Razgrad and Ruse, BTA reported.
In connection with the consultations to form a government, Miteva indicated that they are trying to do what will be best for everyone. “The worst option is to go to an election, and I don’t think that will lead to good results for anyone“, said the representative.
In her words, ITN believes that the situation is such that somehow everyone should unite. “In recent days, we see that everyone supports what we have been talking about from the beginning – that we must unite, be together, but not just in words. We are convinced that if we do not join hands now and look for common ground, we will not be able to do so in the next parliament, regardless of which parties will be in it,” Miteva added. She explained that the unification should happen gradually, stop looking for enemies, and open new doors and build new bridges.
“It turned out that power really is a game, but we said that we will not play it that way and that mimicry is not for us and we are not part of it. I really hope that everyone has learned their lesson, understood why did it come to this, and with a successful third term, let’s start working in a new way”, added Iva Miteva.
