“It’s manifest or die”: taxi drivers renew the snail operation from Chartres to Paris

From 8 a.m. in Barjouville, around twenty-five taxis started a mobilization around Chartres, this Wednesday. A detour in the city center to go to the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris. The taxi drivers then met the Ile-de-France professionals at 10 a.m. before heading to Bercy.

The FDTI responds to the national call of the FNDT (National Taxi Federation). They are protesting against “the government’s inaction” in the face of rising fuel prices, to which are added the previous demands: a review clause in the CPAM agreement to which is added, among other things, the establishment of a fixed fuel tax through the introduction of a floating TICPE. “It’s manifest or die” justifies Alain Poncet of the FDTI 28.
