Christmas has come to The English Court, and it was not going to be less with Overwatch. There are still a few days until December 25, but Blizzard wanted to bring the parties forward and bring us the event of Inverlandia 2021. Like every year, this one has its special modes (also known as brawls) and several new features: skins, gestures, phrases, … What you already know.
As expected, the brawls are the same as every year. Which are not bad, but I wish they put some new mode. These brawls are fine for a little time, but after three games it becomes repetitive … I played these modes simply for the loot boxes. That, of course, they gave me absolutely nothing new (the same old story).
Overwatch Inverland 2021 Brawls
The brawls of this event are those of every year, but in case you have forgotten how they work, I will refresh your memory:
- Fatal Freeze: The mode that makes me the most nervous without a doubt. This brawl of 4vs4 consists of looking for the enemies and defeating them Before they kill you and turn into a very pretty calipus. You can only get out of this if your allies unfreeze you✌
- Mei: Operation Snowball: 6vs6 mode where you will have to search for enemies and throw a snowball at their faces, of those that hurt so much that you will remember it all your life. But be careful if you fail, whye you will have to reload the weapon with the piles of snow that you see❗
- Snowball Fight to the Death: It is like the previous mode only that it becomes a all against all. Can you imagine the situation, thousands of snowballs flying all over the map✅
- Yet Hunti: Five Meis go looking for a poor Yeti that he was very calm doing his things. Yes indeed, if he eats meat you better run, because he will be furious. This mode is scary, because you hear Mei say “we don’t want to hurt you”. But if it’s a lie, you take the life of the Yeti, wretch❌

And the icing on all the events of Overwatch: your skins. Yes what They have also given emotes, phrases, victory poses, graffiti and a new highlight play animation. But let’s not kid ourselves, what we like the most are the new clothes for our favorite characters.
