The Itinerant Art Collective began its journey through the schools, encouraging students to give new meaning to the school space through creative and recreational playful actions.
From the “Learn More: Artistic Languages” program, dependent on the Undersecretary of Educational Planning, the “Itinerant Art Collective” was implemented, which visits primary and secondary educational institutions.
The mobile proposal is made up of teachers with multidisciplinary knowledge linked to art by and for schools, who contribute innovation, stimulate students to redefine the school space. In addition, it encourages to recover the place of creativity, initiative, discovery and the desire to learn.
The first station was the Juan Mantovani School, located in Albardón. The protagonists were the boys from the Art Club, created at the initiative of the students. A playful day of integration and communication was held. There were dances and visual arts, ending with a poetic action and a “Color Guard” performed on a patio wall, within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the school.
Some 40 students from different courses and five teachers from the Itinerant Collective coordinated by Silvia Fonzalida participated; the Lúdico workshops, led by Belén Moreno; Dance, led by Cristian Varela and Visual Arts and Muralism, led by Rosa Escobar and Jorge Echegaray.
The school will receive a paint kit to continue painting murals with the creative design of the young people.
