The song from 1977 was high in the Dutch charts and was also a hit elsewhere. The Dutch women’s group Luv’ made their own version of it: the song Don Juanita De Carnaval.
Television maker Sergio Japino announced Carrà’s death. The two worked together a lot and were good friends. “Raffaella has left us. She went to a better world, where her humanity, her unmistakable smile and her extraordinary talent will shine forever,” Japino wrote.
