After the armed attack on elements of the Civil Force in the municipality of Anáhuac, the Secretary General of Government, Manuel González said that the security operation will be reinforced in the north of the state.
He added that nothing more is about more elements but also that they are better located in gaps and at the intersections with the neighboring states of Tamaulipas and Coahuila.
He mentioned that Nuevo León is the “sandwich” state because it is in the middle of the other two and the exit and entrance gaps of the neighboring states are touched, so the next meeting of governors will take an approach to establish different parameters in the Security scheme
“We are the sandwich, what we want to do is reinforce that area. We have all the effort because we have all the problems on one side and another, ”he explained.
He added that there is already a National Guard, Army and Civil Force presence.
The attack registered on Tuesday to elements of the Civil Force is the first of this 2020 and fortunately it did not happen to adults, that is, no dead elements were reported.
