It will be possible to apply for energy efficiency improvements in the manufacturing industry for a longer period of time

The Central Finance and Contracts Agency (CFLA) has extended the deadline for submitting projects to improve energy efficiency in the manufacturing industry until 15 December this year, the CFLA informs.

In the third selection round of the European Union (EU) fund program, almost 11.7 million euros are available from the Cohesion Fund for investments.

Support from EU funds – 11,679,793 euros – is intended for the performance of reconstruction or renovation works that increase the energy efficiency of industrial production buildings and warehouses, as well as for the purchase of energy-efficient production and its by-products equipment to replace existing, less energy-efficient equipment. It is also envisaged that funding may be invested in the renovation, reconstruction or creation of building engineering systems, the recovery of secondary energy resources from production processes and the use of renewable energy sources, as well as the preparation of technical project documentation.

The deadline for preparation and submission of project applications has been extended due to the program implementing conditions amendments are planned. The amendments are intended to clarify the conditions for granting aid, referring precisely to the European Commission Regulation no.1407/2013 eligible costs and their aid intensity. A webinar on project preparation issues will be organized, explaining the changes made and giving the opportunity to ask interesting questions.

RF support for the implementation of energy efficiency projects is planned Ministry of Economy in the developed EU funds program – 4.1.1. within the framework of the specific support objective “To promote the efficient use of energy resources, reduction of energy consumption and transition to RES in the manufacturing sector”.
