New support package for entrepreneurs
The cabinet met last Thursday an extension of support to businesses, worth a total of € 7.6 billion:
- More companies can receive a Compensation for Fixed Expenses (TVL) and the maximum compensation for fixed expenses increases from 70 to 85 percent
- Companies that started after the start of the corona crisis can now also receive support
- The retail stock allowance is extended and increased
- There will be a guarantee fund of 300 million for events
- The maximum NOW wage support goes from 80 to 85 percent of the wage bill. An entrepreneur has to lose at least 20 percent in sales to get NOW. That remains the same. How much wage support you receive depends on how big your loss of turnover is
