Last week, we reported on the horrendous ratings for the newest installment of Battlefield, from both critics and everyday gamers. Then we looked at the Metacritic portal, which was created precisely for the purpose of rating games. It turns out that Battlefield 2042 collects hopeless ratings not only there.

Only every fourth assessment is positive
The title is one of the worst rated on the Steam platform. According to Steam250, it is currently ranked 9th in the ranking of the worst games according to users’ opinions. When we go to the title page in the Steam store, we will now find information that only 26% of the 36,572 ratings are positive, and the game itself has been assigned the patch “mostly negative”.

Fans undoubtedly did not expect such a disastrous premiere of Battlefield 2042. Usually, Electronic Arts productions do not enjoy the best ratings right after seeing the light of day, but it was not so bad a long time. Moreover, the game does not have a single player mode, and the beta itself was released for a while a couple of weeks ago.
Many players highlighted elements that they didn’t like, didn’t work, or were simply unnecessary in the beta. It seems, however, that the creators did not take their words to heart. Many comments made after the trial version of the game are repeated in the full version, which we can play from the end of the previous week.
