Infinity Ward has revealed what will happen to both Multiplayer and Warzone in Modern Warfare this week, in time for an Extended Free Access Multiplayer Weekend, continuing through Wednesday, August 12.
If you are strictly a Warzone player and haven’t set foot on the full Modern Warfare game, then you’re in luck, as multiplayer remains free until August 12.
Multiplayer modes are great for getting weapons and unlocking accessories to use in Warzone.

Multiplayer
IW revealed that the free access multiplayer playlist will become Shoot the Ship (a mix of modes on Shoothouse and Shipment) on August 11. These close-up maps will ensure you don’t waste time upgrading your weapons of choice.
In addition, the Bare Bones playlist will also be available. This classic MP mode takes away all the extras like killstreaks, perks, and field buffs, leaving just you and your weapon.
You can also try the 3v3 Skirmish.
Warzone
For Warzone, the fast and frantic “Mini Royale” is available this week. This version of Warzone pretty much removes the entire beginning of the game and gets you right into it, replicating the final circles of a regular match.

There is also Solos Stimulus / Buy Back (where you will automatically respawn as long as you have enough money when you are eliminated), as well as the classic Duos, Trios, Quads and Plunder Quads.
