Kadivhubinter Inspector General Polri Krishna Murti said his party arrested Stiak after receiving a request for assistance in arresting Cyril Stiak, a fugitive with status red alert (IRN) by the Head of the National Central Bureau (NCB) in Prague, Czech Republic.

“We are following up on requests to search for IRN subjects on behalf of Cyril Stiak and Stefan Durina, as the NCB in Prague has also requested the same assistance from IGA 89 in Istanbul,” Inspector General Krishna Murti told detik comWednesday (30/11/2022).

Cyril Stiak and Stefan Durina are Interpol fugitives hunted down in several countries. Both of them state red alert hunted since 2019.

“Both fugitives high profile in his country and has been wanted since 2019,” he said.

On Wednesday (30/11/2022), the NCB conducted investigations in several places. Initially, officers received information that the two lived in North Kuta.

However, after conducting a search in that place, to no avail. The latest information says that the two are in a villa in South Kuta, but they are not there.

Furthermore, the officer received information that the two lived in a rented house not far from the villa’s location.

“At 0600 WITA the person concerned was arrested,” he said.
