Viking was a very close equalizer. First, Mai Traore’s heading was stopped by the crossbar, before Jesper Taaje saved at the finish line. Thus, Sandefjord won 2–1.
This is the Vikings’ first loss at home this season.
– We had ambitions to go undefeated at home. There it smoked. Sandefjord deserved to win. It was a bad Viking edition today, says Viking coach Morten Jensen to Discovery.
The Siddis opened the season in a terrific way with five victories in six games, against Bodø / Glimt and Molde, among others.
Now, however, it is in a heavier period. At the moment, they have two losses and two draws in the last four matches.
