Thanks to a new feature present in the “find my mobile” functionality, we will be able to find our lost Samsung Galaxy even if they do not have an Internet connection, but also be able to help others who have lost their device as long as they are of the Galaxy brand.

If you have lost your samsung galaxy favorite and unfortunately it does not have an Internet connection, don’t worry, because thanks to the new functionality introduced by the South Koreans within the “find my mobile” application, you will be able to locate the device.
Max Weinbach from XDA Developers has advanced on Twitter that Samsung has added a new functionality to “find my mobile” that will allow Galaxy owners to help find another lost device.
To activate this new feature within the “find my mobile” function you must go to the offline search page and activate the switch. Specifically, you can read that this option “will allow your phone to be found by other people’s Galaxy terminals even when not connected to the Internet”.
Looks like Samsung just added offline finding to Samsung’s Find My Mobile.

In the description of the new feature it is added that “this will also allow your phone to be used to find other Galaxy devices that have been lost but may be nearby. Also the function allows to find watches and headphones if this was the last device they were connected to”.
This is especially useful, because if we have lost our brand new Samsung Galaxy but do not have an Internet connection, another family member or friend who has a phone from the brand could find it for you, which in the end also opens a way for collaboration among the community. Of course, they could only help you or you could help other users, if both Galaxy devices are close or have passed nearby.
It is not a new feature, because surely if you have an iPhone this functionality sounds familiar to you, given that Apple already implemented it with iOS 13 that allows us to find an iPhone that is without an Internet connection.
