At this year’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Lionsgate confirmed one of the years-old rumors that Ruben Fleischer, the director of Venom, Uncharted, and Zombieland, would be helming the third installment of the Blinders franchise, and it was also revealed that they would be bringing back the original cast, so you can expect the return of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and of course Mark Ruffalo.
Considering that the two previous parts of the franchise have generated 687 million dollars worldwide at the box office, it is a bit strange that the studio has waited until now with the third part, but maybe this way there is hope that this time we will not be dealing with a clichéd (and therefore clashed) trilogy ending, in which this time as promised, we can also meet a new generation of infamous magicians.
