“It happens as it happens” – the show by “Comedy Challenge” winner Manuel Thalhammer on November 24th on ORF 1

With Josh., Maria Angelini-Santner and Rudi Roubinek

Vienna (OTS) “It happens as it comes” – the title says it all! “Comedy Challenge” winner Manuel Thalhammer gets his own show, but no script. How should you prepare for that? Exactly: not at all! So the Upper Austrian has to do what he does best, namely improvise! Manuel Thalhammer’s show “It comes as it comes” was recorded in June at the Theater Kornspeicher in Wels and will be shown on ORF 1 on Friday, November 24th at 9:40 p.m. Josh is there too. and Maria Angelini-Santner, as well as Rudi Roubinek in the role of ORF producer Patrick Pracker.

Manuel Thalhammer’s short journey from Linz was the easiest exercise. When he arrives in Wels, he faces a number of challenges. Although he is hired as a presenter, no one informs him what will actually happen on the show. Because life in the entertainment sector is hard: little budget, a very small studio and the demanding ORF producer Patrick Pracker breathing down his neck. There are games in the classic late night style – with two prominent guests whose names the presenter doesn’t even know at first. So talent for improvisation is required!

At the beginning, Manuel Thalhammer first has to guess his guests. The Upper Austrian audience who attended the recording in the granary has an information advantage and knows which guests have embarked on the adventure. For Maria Angelini-Santner the show is a home game. The “Dancing Stars” juror lives and works in Wels and, among other things, works out the choreographies for the opening of the 2024 Vienna Opera Ball in her own dance school. In “It Comes As It Comes” she also tests Manuel Thalhammer’s dance skills. Singer Josh. came to Wels without “Cordula Grün”, but has a tiny starting advantage in one of the game rounds: Who is better qualified to create an Italian classic than Mister “Expresso und Tschianti” himself? And Josh. reveals his biggest secret: who does he borrow his underwear from?
