Spanish police said the six letter bombs sent against several embassies and other important sites in Madrid were detonated by the city of Valladolid in northern Spain, Reuters reported, citing Mundo.
The letter bombs were sent to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, the Ukrainian embassy, government offices, an EU satellite company and the US embassy between November 24 and December 2. Most of them were defused by sappers, but a letter bomb ignited in the Ukrainian embassy and slightly injured one person.
Spain’s interior ministry said it could not comment on information published in the Spanish publication, BTA said.
