Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that he will work to “destroy Hamas,” stressing that “the blood of its leaders is wasted.”
Netanyahu added in a speech alongside Defense Minister Yoav Gallant: “We are fighting with all our might and on all fronts.”
The Israeli Prime Minister stressed that his country receives strong support to continue the war against Hamas.
Regarding American support, Netanyahu said: “We have obtained American military aid and are awaiting the arrival of the aircraft carrier.”
For his part, Gallant stressed the need to “destroy the enemy by all means and tirelessly,” adding: “We will prevail and we will change the strategic reality. We will wipe Hamas from the face of the earth.”
Gallant continued, saying: “We will not allow a situation to remain in which Israelis are killed,” and concluded his speech by saying: “Our country is facing its most difficult hours, and we are facing an enemy that must be eliminated by all available means.”
