Israeli Occupation Army Bombs Homes and Mosque in Southern Lebanon, Hezbollah Targets Israeli Military Sites

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation army bombed homes and a mosque in several border areas in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah targeted a number of Israeli military sites.

The official Lebanese News Agency reported that residential neighborhoods in the town of Yarin “were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling, while the same bombing targeted the mosque in the town of Al-Jabain in southern Lebanon.”

She pointed out that “the outskirts of the border town of Khiam were bombed with phosphorus bombs by the Israeli army, which fired a missile directed towards the Kunine Horsh.”

The agency explained that “Israeli artillery targeted the eastern outskirts of the town of Aitaroun, where the explosion of 4 interceptor missiles was recorded, which Israel fired over the town,” noting that the artillery shelling of Aitaroun “coincided with a hostile march launching a missile directed toward Horsh Kunine.”

Hezbollah targets Israeli sites

In this context, the agency confirmed that “Israeli warplanes launched a raid targeting the town of Aita al-Shaab, accompanied by artillery shelling that targeted the outskirts of Wadi Saluki.”

She added, “For the third time in less than a month, the Israeli enemy deliberately targeted a house in the Randa area in the center of the town of Aita al-Shaab, with its combat marches that fired a guided missile at the house belonging to the citizen Haider Sorour, where he and his family left with the beginning of the security escalation.”

The agency continued: “Israeli helicopters fired two missiles directed at the northern outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal, on the main road to the hospital.”

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli artillery “targeted a house in the border town of Mays al-Jabal, south of Lebanon.”

For its part, Hezbollah announced in a statement, “It targeted the Yiftah Barracks (the occupied Lebanese town of Jerusalem) and a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles in its vicinity with appropriate weapons, and they caused confirmed casualties.”

He added in another statement that his members “targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Hunin Castle (the occupied Lebanese village of Hunin) with appropriate weapons.”

Earlier Thursday, Hezbollah had announced that its members “targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Shomera Barracks (the occupied Lebanese town of Tarbikha, north of Israel).”

On the other hand, the occupation army announced in a statement that its warplanes raided Hezbollah’s infrastructure and military buildings inside Lebanon.
