JERUSALEM – Gyms, hotels, swimming pools, sporting and cultural public events. From today the Israelis can return to a kind of normalcy. Not all: only those who can show a certificate to prove that they received the second dose of the vaccine at least a week ago.
At first, the government thought of calling this immunization pass a green passport. It created confusion, it would have led people to believe that they could use it abroad, now called the Green Pass (green pass) and the Ministry of Health specifies that it is valid only for the Israeli jurisdiction.
For now: the premier Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to come to an agreement with Greece and Cyprus for open borders to vaccinated people in the spring.
