A source inside the Ismaili club has confirmed that Spanish Juan Carlos Garrido, former Al-Ahly coach, is one of the closest candidates to take over the team’s formation in the next period.
The source said, in the statements of Leila Koura, that there were some rumors that the coach did not agree on, including the expulsion in case of defeat for 3 consecutive games.
For its part, the club refused to receive the value of 6 months of Garrido’s salary as a penalty in the event that the coach had asked to leave, as the “dervishes” administration would like to obtain a higher sum.
It is worth noting that both sides are trying to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement.
