IPhone 14 could offer up to 2TB of internal storage

Apple could consider the possibility of launching a pro model of iPhone 14 in 2022 with 2TB of internal storage.

Internal storage is one of the most important parts of our mobile phone, a place where we store all the apps, games, but also the videos and pictures we take with our brand new camera.

And while Apple has doubled the iPhone 13’s storage space to 1TB this year in more advanced models, it’s likely it will do so again with the iPhone 14, according to Mydrivers.

This might have some logic given the increasingly advanced camera system offered by the iPhone with photographs that already occupy a good circulation of megabytes. This would make the need to launch an iPhone with little internal storage unreasonable and it would be practical to bet on those with more storage.

This Mydrivers report relies on information from Digitimes to claim that those in Cupertino are working with NAND flash chipmakers to create solutions. NAND flash QLC cost-effective for iPhone 14.

The great thing about QLC is that it increases memory density by 33% allowing our future iPhones to store more data in the same form factor.

However, we have to be careful with this information, not only because the iPhone 14 is still very far ahead and Apple’s plans may change, but because Apple has freed up 1TB of internal storage in the models. the most advanced of the iPhone 13, more than enough. for the most demanding users.
