REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA– Rumors about the release date iPhone 12 continues to increase as the possibility of an announcement gets closer. A number of reports indicate Apple plans to reveal the phone on October 13th. Many Apple rumor sites including MacRumors have reported the date, although it is far from confirmed.
Reporting from Independent, Tuesday (29/9), the equipment will reportedly arrive about a week and a half later on October 23. That means the iPhone 12 will arrive almost a month later than its usual launch. Usually, iPhone is announced and released in September.
The launch delay corresponds to a global pandemic. The pandemic caused production problems in China, as well as delivery delays that caused iPhone launches to delay.

Companies can choose to release the phones at different times and not all of them will arrive in October. The same is true of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, with the cheaper model out of schedule a few weeks before the iPhone X hits the public.

While the well-known company was very secretive about its product plans, it made the announcement to investors. This means both are likely accurate and will be followed by further announcements if a longer delay is expected.
