On Apple’s official developer forum and the online forum Reddit flocks users with complaints about relatively poor battery life after installing the iOS 14.2 update.

Apple has previously offered cheaper battery replacement after the company deliberately slowed down iPhones without notifying customers. In March this year Apple entered into a $ 500 million settlement following a related lawsuit.
According to several of the users who complain, they experience that the battery status suddenly drops by 50 percent and that the level drops by 5 percentage points in a few minutes during normal use.
