MG has officially released official photos of its newest electric car candidate, the MG4 EV. This car will reportedly be launched in September 2022 in the UK. Carrying the style of a 5-passenger crossover, this car will be a competitor to the Korean electric car, the Ioniq 5.
Quoted from the page Carscoops, the MG4 EV will be the first MG car to use the Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) architecture. This car has a modern, aggressive design, accompanied by sporty front and rear lights.

The MG4 EV carries an RWD drive system that will bring the latest updates in safety, technology and efficiency. The battery height of this car is only 110 mm (4.3 inches) with a weight distribution of 50:50, this platform is claimed to offer better handling.
This car will be available with two battery capacities, 51 kWh or 64 kWh. It offers a WLTP range of 218-281 miles (350-452 km). The MG4 uses a rear-mounted electric motor. This car is also ready to support AWD drive with the potential to add a second electric motor up front.
Looking into the interior, there is a full digital dashboard, touch screen instrument panel, wireless charger, adjustment knob, several cup holders, and a modern steering wheel design with a flat top and bottom.

MG will soon announce the full specifications of the MG4 EV, along with pricing for the UK market. David Allison, Head of Product and Planning at MG Motor UK, has signaled that the MG4 EV will be an electric car at an attractive price.
The MG4 EV will compete with several electric cars, both from Europe and Asia. Its competitors include the VW ID.3, Kia EV6, including the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
