Investing 450 thousand euros, ‘Gemoss’ has opened a new store in Valmiera

The company “Gemoss” has opened a new store in Valmiera, which is now the company’s sixth bar-restaurant and culinary goods store-warehouse in the Baltics, the company’s representatives inform.

The total investment in the implementation of this project was 450,000 euros. The largest investments in this building were communications, electricity, heating and interior restoration.

The realization of the whole project from the sight of the building to the opening of the store has taken seven months. Reconstructed in 1890, the old warehouse building has acquired a restored look and a special interior design with a lot of non-standard furniture from pallets and timber.

Similar to stores in Riga, Liepaja and Tallinn, Valmiera will also sell nuts, dried fruits, spices, dishes, kitchen and confectionery, as well as disposable tableware. There will also be a Gemoss café, where you can buy Andrito coffee to take away.

“In seven months, we built our 500 m2 a large shop, reconstructing a historic 19th-century building in Pārgauja and involving most of the Valmiera companies, “says Gemoss board member Ieva Treija.

“Gemoss” store is located in Valmiera, Stacijas Street. The construction project of the store was developed by the architectural office “Būvdizains”, while the main construction contractor – SIA “Aimasa”, subcontractors SIA “Sanart” and “Elkoms I”.
