Divorce, with which the family disintegrated, the beads of its knot fell apart and went unheeded. A mother who lacked the feelings of motherhood and humanity before her, began torturing her child relentlessly, thinking that she would correct her behavior and ensure that the 9-year-old would comply with her orders, but a coincidence revealed the hidden one and put her behind bars.
The first chapter of the tragic story took place inside a hairdresser in the land of Al-Liwa in Al-Agouza neighborhood. A woman in her twenties caught sight of a woman next to her, a shaved-headed child with signs of torture on her neck, face, and hands.
The lady continued to observe the shocking scene for minutes, her eyes not leaving the small, emaciated body, and the traces of injuries evident on her, until she decided to get closer to the truth of the matter.
I took the initiative to ask the woman in her fifties, “Your daughter has no money, and what did he do to her?” without getting an answer. The woman was not satisfied with that, and informed the Sheriff of the Agouza Police Station, Brigadier General Ahmed El-Desouki, of the incident.

By codifying the procedures, Captain Mustafa Abdel Sattar arrested the mother and took her for investigation. With enviable calm and confidence, the complainant explained that she had separated from her husband 7 years ago, “I remained the father and mother of 5 children,” justifying her action by “politely so as not to hear the words.”
Apart from the mother’s act, the policemen in the police station were keen to reassure him of the nine-year-old girl in preparation for presenting her to a hospital in order to prepare a full report on her condition and attach it to the report that Major General Muhammad al-Sharqawi, Director of the Giza Investigations, referred it to the Public Prosecution.
