Investigation on Celebgram Angela Lee’s Accident on Salatiga Toll Road

SALATIGA, KOMPAS.com – The Salatiga Police conducted an investigation regarding the accident that happened to Angela Charlie aka Angela Lee.

As is known, Angela had an accident on Friday (26/5/2023) at around 19.00 WIB on the KM 453,400 Salatiga toll road, lane A, Kauman Kidul Village, Sidorejo District, Salatiga City, Central Java.

Salatiga Police Chief AKBP Feria Kurniawan revealed that the accident involved a Toyota Fortuner L 1185 AAS that Angela was traveling with her driver and two assistants in a Hino AG 9853 UA trailer truck.

“The victim was injured seriously enough to receive treatment at the hospital,” he said, Tuesday (30/5/2023).

According to him, to speed up the investigation process, the Salatiga Police brought in the TAA (Traffic Accident Analysis) Team from the Central Java Regional Police who used 3D Laser Scanner technology to analyze and find out the causes of accidents.

“Until now, the Salatiga Police have carried out investigative steps by examining a number of witnesses, both from the Salatiga Transportation Agency, the victim Angela and her assistant, the truck driver and the Fortuner driver,” he explained.

Feria Kurniawan conveyed the chronology of the accident.

“Starting from the truck driven by Suryono, a resident of Kediri, he drove from Semarang to Solo in the slow lane on the left at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour,” he said.

At the same time, he was driving in the same direction from behind the Fortuner, driven by Muhammad Arif Fadlul Rahman, carrying three passengers, namely Angela Charlie and two assistants, but due to the close distance and being unable to avoid it, an accident occurred.

“As a result of this incident, Angela Charlie suffered a fractured right cheek, broken right leg and is in conscious condition, now being treated at Tlogorejo Hospital in Semarang. Meanwhile, her two assistants named Shinta and Viki are still being treated at Salatiga Hospital,” said Feria.

“With the help of the TAA Team from the Central Java Regional Police Ditlantas, coupled with the examination of other witnesses, we hope to shed light on this case so that it can be improved from the investigation process to the investigation. For now, we are still waiting for the results of the recordings or pictures from the Central Java Police TAA team. ,” said Faria.
