Investigating Alleged Indonesian Citizen Data Leaks, Bareskrim Summons the Managing Director of BPJS Kesehatan Monday

The alleged leakage of personal data of 279 million Indonesian citizens (WNI) which is sold on a online in the forum hacker Raid Forums diselidiki Bareskrim Polri. President Director of BPJS Kesehatan Ali Ghufron Mukti will be summoned for questioning.

Kabareskrim Polri, Komjen Agus Andrianto, stated that Ali Ghufron will be summoned on Monday (24/5/2021).

“The Director of BPJS Kesehatan will be summoned for clarification,” said Komjen Agus, Friday (21/5/2021).

Previously, Komjen Agus stated that Bareskrim was serious about handling this case which was of concern to the public. He has also formed a team so that the disclosure of this case is complete.

“Since the issue rolled around, I have ordered the Dirtipidsiber (Brigadier General Slamet Uliandi) to investigate this matter,” he said.

Contacted separately, Brigadier General Slamet Uliandi also confirmed that BPJS Kesehatan Director Ali Ghufron Mukti will be summoned on Monday.

“This summons is a first step,” said the figure who is familiarly called Ulin.

The Head of the Presisi Posko stated that in the summons later, his party would clarify a number of things including who operates the data at BPJS Kesehatan. Digital forensics will also be carried out.

Previously, data on 279 million Indonesians was claimed to have been leaked and sold online. The personal information in the leaked data includes NIK (population identification number), name, address, telephone number, and reportedly the amount of salary.

This leaked data is sold and is referred to as complete personal information. Also included is a million sample data for checking. This incident caused an uproar in the virtual world since yesterday, Tuesday (20/5).
