Ms. Achermann, you head the new foundation against hate speech of the ETH and the women’s umbrella organization Alliance F. What do you want to achieve?
Debates and exchanges are increasingly taking place on the Internet. Our focus is to design these digital spaces in such a way that everyone feels invited to a constructive dialogue. Our foundation comes from civil society and takes science with it. So it’s not just about fighting hate speech.
