A violent fire in a tanker caused parts of the Interstate 95 highway in Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, USA, to collapse on Sunday.
CNN writes that the tanker caught fire below, exploded and flames and heat caused the structure to give way.
No one was injured, but the accident affects an important highway on the east coast of the United States.
On Sunday evening Norwegian time, the White House announced that President Joe Biden had been notified.
It is reported that Biden’s representatives have been in contact with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Mayor Jim Kenney, and are offering help, according to Reuters.
Photos and videos published in the American press show that the material damage is extensive.
