Internazionale is preparing for a blood-curdling Serie A final. Antonio Conte’s team won 2-0 against SSC Napoli on Tuesday and is now second, Atalanta Bergamo is number three again. Both teams will meet on Saturday.
At Inter, Stefan de Vrij started in the starting line-up, but star player Lautaro Martínez started on the bench. That seemed to have a sporty reason, because the Argentinian is just fit. Christian Eriksen also did not start. Former Ajax player Arek Milik was in the point of attack with Napoli.
The first big chance of the match was an immediate hit. The defense of Napoli hesitated when defending and saw Danilo D’Ambrosio shove in 1-0 for Inter a few moments later. After that, Inter hardly caused any danger. The biggest opportunities were for Napoli, but Lorenzo Insigne (2x) and Matteo Politano were not on their toes.
