The International Progressive Theater Festival (FITP) 2024 celebrated World Theater Day on March 27 with a varied free program held at the Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa.
The day began with a heartfelt tribute to the circus actress, clown and traveling cyclist Julieta Hernández with the play The beautiful world of Juliet, a show from the National Circus Art Network. The Clown Network presented A gift for Julietfollowed by the work The explorer suitcase of IIAVE and the song of Happy Birthdaysince the birth of the artist coincides with the celebration of World Theater Day.
The program also included the keynote talk The history of the Moscow Art Theater with Pavel Rudnev, from the Moscow Art Theater and the baptism of the book “Acuyá Theater”, by Pablo García Gámez, produced by the National Theater Company (CNT) and edited by El Perro y la Rana, in the lobby of the Teatro Principal, review note from the FITP.
