INDONESIAN CERDIK – Twitter launching Fleets, a new feature similar to Instagram Stories where tweets can disappear after 24 hours.
The company said the so-called short tweet Fleets These, due to their fleeting nature, are designed to allay the worries of new users that the public might turn off and the permanent nature of regular tweets.
Fleets cannot be retweeted and will have no features like.
People can respond to them, but those replies appear as direct messages to the original tweeter, not as public responses, turning them into private conversations, not public discussions.

Twitter has tested the feature in Brazil, Italy, India, and South Korea, before rolling it out globally.
Fleets is an easy way to communicate fleeting thoughts as opposed to permanent tweets, Joshua Harris, design director, and Sam Haveson, product manager, said in a blog post.
The news came on the same day as the CEO Twitter Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg faced questions from the Senate Judiciary Committee about how they handled the disinformation surrounding the presidential election.
