The Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources provides incentives to people who install rooftop solar power plants (PLTS). The incentives are in the form of 4751 e-vouchers with a total value of Rp. 23.62 billion.
This incentive is a grant from the Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF). The SEF grant is one of the programs under the Market Transformation through Design and Implementation of Appropriate Mitigation Actions in the Energy Sector (MTRE3) project activity, which is a collaboration between the Indonesian government through the Directorate General of EBTKE, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
the currently available e-vouchers are 4,525 e-vouchers. The purpose of providing this incentive is so that the installation of rooftop solar power plants can achieve its economic value.

“Provide incentives for the installation of PLTS Roof to achieve its economic value, so that it can encourage the installation of PLTS Roof on a massive scale and contribute to the national target for new and renewable energy (EBT) as well as reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions,” reads the statement on the isurya page. mtre3.id as quoted by detikcom, Tuesday (5/7/2022).
The target recipients of the PLTS rooftop incentives are PLN customers for the categories of households, businesses and small-medium scale industries (focusing on MSMEs), and social (schools/educational buildings, hospitals, places of worship).
