Instagram Tests Post Stories Feature for 1 Minute

Jakarta, Selular.ID Instagram is now known to be planning to extend the time limit for its short video feature to 1 minute, which previously only lasted 15 seconds.

Citing pages Techcrunch, in a statement, an Instagram spokesperson confirmed this, “The ability to create longer Stories posts was highly requested by our community. So we’re excited to be able to test 60-second Stories so people can create and view Stories with less distractions.”

The Instagram move was first seen by application researcher Alessandro Paluzzi through the application’s source code. What Paluzzi found was that it was already owned by several users publicly or in other words it had been rolled out to a small number of users for testing.

This update is suspected to be Instagram’s long-term plan, which previously the popular social media boss, Mosseri, earlier this year, had revealed, regarding the simplification of the user experience from many fields. At the time Mosseri said the company was looking for ways to consolidate its video app product, to simplify the experience and facilitate the creative process of its users.

And it is also reported that Instagram is now exploring various features that Instagram has, such as IG TV, for example, in the future, don’t be surprised if it’s functionally simplified again.
