Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte Writes Open Letter About Persecution of M Kece

The reported case of alleged mistreatment of Muhammad Kosman alias Muhammad Kece, Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte speak up about the alleged abuse. Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte also wrote an open letter delivered by his attorney, Haposan Batubara.

“My compatriots and fellow countrymen actually I want to talk directly to all of you, but at this time I can’t do it,” wrote Napoleon in his open letter, Sunday (19/9/2021).

Napoleon stated in the open letter that he was born and raised as a Muslim. He said Islam is a religion that is rahmatan lil alamin.

“Alhamdulillah YRA, that I was born as a Muslim and raised in the observance of the Islamic religion rahmatan lil alamin,” wrote Napoleon.

Napoleon stated that anyone has the right to insult himself but not with Allah, the Messenger and the Qur’an. Whoever insults God, he swears to take measurable action.

“Anyone can insult me, but not against my Allah, the Koran, the Messenger of Allah and my Islamic faith, so I swear I will take any measured action against anyone who dares to do it,” he said.

Napoleon called Muhammad Kece’s actions very dangerous to the unity and harmony of religious communities in Indonesia. He also regrets that Kece’s content on social media has not been removed by the government.

“I deeply regret that until now the government has not removed all content in the media, which has been created and published by these uncivilized humans,” he added.

Muhammad Kece, who is a suspect in the blasphemy case, previously made a report to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police that he was abused in the detention center. Muhammad Kece admitted that he had experienced persecution from fellow detainees at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Police immediately launched a case to determine the suspect in the persecution.

“The case is that the whistleblower reports that he has received abuse from a person who is currently a prisoner at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police,” said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono at a press conference at his office, Friday (17/9).
