Four days after his escape, an inmate from the correctional facility in Torgau, Saxony, was caught in Freiburg im Breisgau. As the federal police announced on Thursday, the 52-year-old was stopped at Freiburg Central Station late on Tuesday evening.
The man escaped while being released on Friday. He still had to serve a 20-month prison sentence for fraud, it was said. The 52-year-old should now be brought back to Saxony.
