The morning after the game, Slavia boss Jaroslav Tvrdík updated information on Schranz’s health: “Very sad news. Ivan Schranz is hospitalized in neurosurgery ÚVN (Central Military Hospital) with head and cervical spine injuries. Ivan, let’s cross our fingers and we are with you! And for the autumn part, unfortunately, we are losing another key player “.
Schranz is the protagonist of the nomination of the Italian coach Francesco Calzona for the September League of Nations matches against Azerbaijan (22/9) and Belarus (25/9). Despite the statistical advantage, Slavia experienced a difficult match, the Kosovo opponent led twice in the first half.
