Information: Brynäs recruits purchased NHL-Swedish

Brynäs has lost six straight games and now the club is said to strengthen the player squad in the form of Dmytro Timashov who was most recently in the New York Islanders organization.

Timashov was yesterday put on unconditional waivers with the aim of breaking his contract.

Today it became clear that his parties are going their separate ways and Timashov became a free agent – he was not for long.

According to Expressen Timashov has signed for Brynäs and will strengthen their forward side.

The last time Timashov played in Sweden was in 2014 for Modo, where he mostly played in the J20 but also made three appearances in the SHL.

Since then, he has played for the Quebec Remparts and Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL, the Toronto Marlies and Bridgeport Islanders in the AHL, as well as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders in the NHL.
