The evolution of the number of infected with Covid-19 in Portugal, from the moment that the level of 100 cases was reached, is slightly below the evolution that occurred in the same period in the countries where the disease reached more severe levels. More specifically, countries like China, Italy, South Korea, Spain or Iran.
The evolution of the number of contagions in the various countries shows how the Portuguese curve is below the most serious cases, but that still hits many countries where the disease is progressing more slowly. The negative side is that we are glued to the evolution of the USA in the early days and also to the curve registered in France.
As for the line that records the deaths, after the 10th recorded case by country, Portugal is stuck to the evolution of France and above what Italy showed at the end of the 7th day of this sequence. Even so, note that the number of deaths in Italy has skyrocketed on the 11th day.
For now, we are in this situation less badly in view of the number of fatalities recorded (at the same time) in Spain or the United Kingdom.
