Indy Barends mourns Indra Bekti’s condition when she is found in the bathroom

Indra Bekti is currently in intensive care at Abdi Waluyo Hospital in Jakarta, after suffering a brain hemorrhage on Wednesday (28/12) morning.

The presenter, who is familiarly called Bekti, was unconscious in the bathroom of the office where he was broadcasting after admitting he felt dizzy.

Indy Barends, as Bekti’s best friend, immediately visited the hospital to find out Bekti’s current condition.

When he met with reporters after seeing his friend’s condition, Indy told Timeline that Bekti felt dizzy and eventually lost consciousness.

“This morning, Bekti went on the radio around 8. So during the broadcast, Bekti complained that she had a headache and kept going to the bathroom because she said she wanted to poop,” Indy Barends said.

“When Bekti went to the toilet, why didn’t he go back to the broadcast room for a long time? After checking with the broadcast team, the toilet door was closed from the inside and dismantled,” he continued.

Indy, who couldn’t hold back tears, said Bekti was found sitting in the bathroom unconscious.

“Indeed, Bekti was still pooping, but already in a sleeping position, unconscious. Under the circumstances everyone acted quickly and Bekti was immediately taken to the emergency room,” she explained in a sobbing voice.

In addition, Indy said that Adila Jelita, Bekti’s wife, and family were already in the hospital to accompany the treatment process.

“Everything is in the family, but the children don’t come. The wife must be shocked, as a friend I can’t stand such a situation,” he concluded.
