The hope of the Indonesian people to have an electric car at an affordable price is presented by Wuling. Wuling recently revealed about its first electric car, named Air ev. The small car is expected to be sold in the price range of Rp 250-300 million. In Indonesia, the price of a pure electric car with battery power, the price is quite cheap.
If you want to compare, the price is cheaper than electric cars offered by other manufacturers such as Hyundai. The cheapest Hyundai electric car price is currently selling for Rp. 682 million.

“Many are interested and do pre-booking,” said Dian when contacted by detikcom, Tuesday (12/7/2022).
Even so, Dian has not clearly revealed how many units have been ordered. For your information, Wuling has not officially launched Air ev. But reservations have been open since July 11, 2022. The launch seems to be done in the near future. Dian himself confirmed that Wuling Air ev would be launched before the fourth quarter of 2022.

The pre-booking period is open from July 11 to August 10, 2022. Wuling Air ev is claimed to provide pollution-free driving facilities that enable drivers to move freely through urban challenges supported by various smart features it has. In addition, charging Wuling Air ev can also be done easily at home.
